The choir will be singing motets by J.S. and J.C. Bach, and these will be interspersed with improvisations from jazz instrumentatlists, inspired by the themes of the motets. The inherent jazz undertones that can be found in both Bachs’ harmonic language and rhythmic counterpoint make this the perfect musical marriage.
